Antigua Island is known as the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. It is an island full of tourism attraction such as historical building and its beautiful beaches. For the beach lovers, this is perfect destination for you to enjoy yourself on a clean beach with its white sand and nearly transparent water of Antigua Holidays.
There are two parts of the island that you can go for its beaches, one is in the Northwest part and another one is the Southwest part. People mostly will go to the Northwest part as the place is more crowded and developed for tourism. That leaves the Southwest with its almost untouchable beaches and quite environment. If you are bored playing on the beach, you could go to the Boggy Peak where you can view the whole beautiful island.
The last time I visited Antigua was 2 years ago during my summer holiday. I went there with my family and have a unforgettable experience going through each part of the Antigua island. Beside its beautiful beaches, Antigua also has several historical buildings due to its history of European colonialism, such as the Saint John Cathedral. After checking the historical building in the City of Saint John, I went to the traditional market which is very unique and took a visit to the duty free shop.
